Event Description:
The Brownwood Area Chamber of Commerce and the Early Chamber of Commerce will host a forum for candidates running for Brown County Commissioner in the upcoming Primary Election.
The forum will be held on Friday, February 19th at the Brownwood Country Club with the buffet lunch opening at 11:30 AM and the forum beginning at noon.
Candidates include: Brown County Commissioner Precinct 1 - Gary Worley (Incumbent), Tommy Blevins, Jimmy Trowbridge and Bob Contreras. Brown County Commissioner Precinct 3 - Wayne Shaw (Incumbent), Pat McLaughlin and Jessica Acker.
Questions for the candidates may be submitted in writing prior to the forum by emailing director@brownwoodchamber.org.
The luncheon is sponsored by Bruner Auto Group and Howard Payne University. Table sponsor is Batts Communications. Door prizes will be provided by Cook's Fish Barn Restaurant & Catering, Elliott Electric Supply Co. and Heartland Mall.
