Event Description:
Second annual event, put on by the Brownwood Rotary Club. Eight local couples have been chosen to work with 2 local dance studios to learn a 2 minute dance routine based on famous movie dance scenes. This year's event will include a choice of ticket options that range from show only to a wine and cheese red carpet meet and greet with the celebrity dancers and after-party. Details will be coming soon.
How does this raise money? Votes are cast by buying tickets to the event and donating money in the name of each dancer. $1 = 1 vote. The dancer who collects the most votes ($$$) is the champion! We also have corporate sponsorships available.100% of the proceeds will go to the charities and causes supported by the Brownwood Rotary Club: RYLA Scholarship- Rotary Youth Leadership Academy, The Lyric Theatre's Children's programs, The Brown County Child Welfare Board & Rainbow Room, The Brown County Museum of History for children's programs, ROC- Revitilize Our Community- to assist with accessible playground equipment,Free dictionaries for all Brown County 3rd graders and scholarships for Brownwood and Early High School seniors.
