?May Country Christmas? Celebration Stirs the Spirit of the Season as a benefit for the Salvation Army! Join together with friends and neighbors to celebrate this Christmas season at the ?May Country Christmas? to benefit the Salvation Army held at the May Community Center on Saturday, December 13th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Come sing Christmas carols with the Local Bands and savor an unforgettable theatrical performance by the ?Sweet Hattalines? of the Red Hat Society. There?s something for everyone? Adults will appreciate an inspiring display of Nativity Scenes shared from the community to retell the story of the miraculous gift of the first Christmas. Ever wonder where Christmas traditions come from? Why we hang stockings and mistletoe? Take a stroll down Christmases Past and peek into History Exhibits which will fascinate the inquisitive and illuminate the Season! Saint Nicholas will be here to listen to every child's wish and tell the "Santa Story"! Children can delight in cookie decorating and holiday crafts in Santa?s Workshop. Families can climb aboard a ?One-Horse Open Sleigh? for a photograph to remember. So, Parents bring your cameras! Live music, Hot Chocolate, Sweets, and Jubilant Festivities are sure to warm the hearts and spirits of old and young alike. Admission is free!
