Quilter's Hide Out Presents Quilt Camp 2023
This camp is for ages 9 to adults!
Session One is June 5th thru June 7th from 1:00pm-3:30pm.
There will be a limit of 7 campers. A second session may be offered if there is enough interest & an available date.
This is an all inclusive camp; all supplies and equipment will be provided.
Campers will be given the opportunity to learn basic sewing skills such as threading the sewing machine, choosing fabric colors to create a quilt, stitching with a sewing machine, matching fabric edges for stitching, pressing quilt seams, matching block seams, pinning and stitching quilt rows together, and constructing blocks to create a throw size quilt. Campers will complete a quilt top during camp which will be quilted and bound after camp is over for campers to pickup at a later date. Campers should wear comfortable, casual clothing.
Cost for the camp is $225; this includes fabric, thread, use of needed equipment such as seam rippers, scissors, pins, marking pens, irons, ironing boards, sewing machines, building use fee, quilting service, binding service, and instruction to complete a throw size quilt.
$125 deposit is required at the time of registration with $100 due by the first day of camp. Deposit is nonrefundable but may be used for another camp date. You must pre-register to attend!!
