Event Description:
This year's Christmas Festival will be held on Saturday, December 3rd beginning at 9:00AM and will end at 3:00PM in Downtown Brownwood. Thank you to our Presenting Sponsor United Supermarkets. Special thanks to our supporting sponsors: Chick-fil-A, Citizens National Bank, Brookshire's, and Hendrick Medical Center Brownwood.
Meet at Pat Coursey Park for pictures with Santa, Big Wheel Races, and Santa's Workshop. Breakfast with Santa will begin at 9am and the first 100 kids to arrive receive a free breakfast from Chick-fil-A. Businesses throughout Downtown Brownwood will host Christmas crafts and refreshments such as Christmas music on the piano at Saturdays courtesy of Carolyn Hammock playing carols at the top of every hour, Christmas pine cone crafts at Davis Floral, cookie decorating with Zhymara's Bakery at Luna Maya Baby, and readings of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" by Brownwood Lyric Players inside Intermission Bookstore. The Festival is full of fun for the whole family, including pets. The Pet Christmas Costume Contest will be held at 2pm at Pat Coursey Park. Contestants must register by 1:30pm. Owners are responsible for pets and they must be on a leash at all times. Winners receive PetCo gift cards.
Schedule of Events:
9am: Breakfast with Santa-1st 100 kids with a ticket, will receive a Free Chick-fil-A Biscuit. Breakfast will be available for purchase for attendees. You will also be able to take pictures with Santa!
10am: Brownwood Middle School Choir will perform.
11am: Brownwood Lyric Players will read "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" inside Intermission Bookstore.
12 Noon: 2nd Players reading of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"
: Chick-fil-A will have lunch available for purchase.
1pm: Last reading by Lyric Players "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"
2pm: Pet Christmas Costume Contest presented by Petco.
Winners will receive gift certificates to Petco.

Close to 30 vendors will be on hand to get us all in the holiday spirit along with all the wonderful businesses in Downtown Brownwood open with ongoing sales to satisfy your Christmas shopping list!
The 4th Annual Sipping Under the Stars will also be held on Saturday, December 3rd following the Christmas Festival in Downtown Brownwood beginning at 6pm.
