Event Description:
We invite you to join us for a day of learning and fun at Lake Brownwood!
Come explore our park and learn about the history, nature, and recreation we have to offer! We are celebrating 100 years of Texas State Parks, so you don't want to miss this special event!
Entrance to the park is FREE!
Friday, May 12th is exclusive for local schools. Saturday, May 13th is open to the general public!
Special Guests include:
Texas A&M Forest Service, TPWD Angler Education, Texas State Parks Curatorial Services, Brown County Museum of History, Prairie Oak Master Naturalists, Visit Brownwood, Texas and Visit Early, Texas.
Regios Tacos y Antojitos Food Truck will be set up selling tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and lemonade!
We will also be celebrating 100 S'More Years by making s'mores during this event. S'mores while supplies last. Thanks to Solo Stove for donating fire pits to help us provide a smokeless s'mores experience.
This is one of many 100-year celebration events happening in Texas State Parks this year. Entry to a park is free on the day it hosts an official 100-Year celebration event (applies to day passes only.) Guarantee entry by reserving your free day pass up to one month before this special event.
