Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator that will be responsible for assisting with daily plant operations as assigned.? 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Make changes to the operating process necessary to maintain product quality 

  • Monitor the performance of plant equipment and process conditions, read flow meters and temperature and pressure gauges, and take routine readings on process variables 

  • Promptly respond to process alarms / constraints 

  • Prepare equipment for maintenance 

  • Support other Operational activities associated with site Turnarounds and Projects 

  • Willing to work other than scheduled times when needed to meet deadlines or ensure that daily work is completed 

  • Perform other duties as instructed by Supervisor 

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE: 

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred 

  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency 

  • Able to work independently and within a team 

  • Capable of performing a wide range of physical activities which include pulling, reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, and must be able to push, pull, carry move and / or lift up to 50 lbs.
